Our services are based on the authoritative and best-selling book on intervention: Love First. Our intervention specialists have been personally trained by the authors of Love First: Jeff and Debra Jay.
Intervention is a highly structured process that uses the love and concern of family and friends in an organized way to break through denial and convince the addicted person to accept help now.
Our interventionist will take charge of the situation, giving you peace of mind. They will thoroughly train and rehearse your family prior to the meeting with your addicted loved one. On intervention day, our professional will then lead the intervention. The goal is to bring your loved one to a moment of clarity, so they will accept help immediately. We will also escort the addicted person to treatment.
Interventions are successful 85-90% of the time in getting the person to enter treatment immediately. In our experience, most of the 10-15% who don't go to treatment on intervention day will accept help within a few days.
People who are addicted to alcohol or drugs think it's a solution, so they don't see the problem. Until the family stands together and develops a new strategy, their efforts to help will almost always fail.
We can help your family develop a unified strategy and carry out a good, structured intervention. Working with a professional can make all the difference.
